Join us for a free webinar presented by Dr. Dara Bourassa, Assistant Professor and Director of Gerontology, School of Social Work and Gerontology at Shippensburg University!

This webinar will cover the phenomena of compassion fatigue as related to helping professionals that work with abused and/or neglected clients. This concept will be thoroughly defined. In addition, risk factors, effects, and prevention techniques will be discussed. The presentation will be 45 minutes in length followed by a 15 minute question and answer (Q&A) session.

Target audience: Social Workers, Care Managers, Home Health Aides, and any other helping professionals.

This webinar seeks to provide information regarding caregiver burden. Materials from the presentation are for educational purposes only and should not to be used to diagnose, treat, or to be shared in exchange for financial gain.
